First Aid / CPR Class

The Lincoln County Chapters of Oregon Farm Bureau and Oregon Small

Woodland Association are Hosting a First Aid/CPR Class.

WHEN: May 4, 2024 from 9:00 am to 2:30 pm // ½ hour break between First Aid and CPR sessions

WHERE: OSU Extension Office, 1211 SE Bay Road, Newport, Oregon, 97365

COST: $ 65.00 per person // Checks payable to LCOSWA and mailed to:

INSTRUCTOR: Todd Washington // dba CPR WORKS, Corvallis Oregon.

This class is geared for those that would expect a ½ hour wait or greater prior to arrival of professional assistance and ambulance. Will receive certification good for two (2) years for those needing documented certification. Class will cover infant emergency care, heart defibrillator operation-practice (AEDs), Narcan usage with drug overdoses and the first aid / CPR instruction needed for certification.

We would like a minimum of 30 participants for this session and a maximum of 45.

This is the first time for our local Farm Bureau and Small Woodlands so unknown what the interest really is. If interest is high, we could look at annual training sessions or more?

Because we have no real idea of interest in class, we will go with first to call or email first in line with confirmation being a received check. We would like 48 hours minimum notice if you have sent a check but then cannot attend, for reimbursement and possibly getting another participant.
