Small-scale sawmill operators have a new opportunity to sell their lumber directly to consumers through the Oregon Lumber Grading Program.

Hosted by OSU Extension Service, this full-day training is one of the first offerings since the Oregon Forest to Homes Act was passed by the Oregon Legislature in 2025. Participants who successfully complete the training and exam can obtain an Oregon Lumber Program Certificate, allowing them to sell qualifying sawn lumber directly to consumers.
