pcoming Annual Meeting: August 16
Now, mark your calendars for our Marion-Polk Chapter Annual Meeting on Saturday, August 16, starting at 10:30 AM. We'll meet at the south end of Bush's Pasture Park in Salem, along Leffelle Street—plenty of parking available nearby.
Agenda highlights:
Election of Officers: We'll vote on chapter leadership for the coming year.
Log Market Report: Terry Lamers will provide an update on current log market trends.
Member-to-Member Information Exchange: This year's theme focuses on sharing knowledge among ourselves. No formal speaker—just members talking to members about issues, challenges, and resources they've found useful. Bring books, articles, or discuss websites with superb content on forestry, wood products, or related topics. It's a great chance to learn from each other!
Like last year, we'll enjoy Subway sandwiches for lunch. The cost to attend is just $5 per person (pay upon arrival) to help cover food—note that the chapter will subsidize the remaining expenses to keep it affordable for all. Invite friends and neighbors ... everyone is welcome.
To ensure we order enough food, please RSVP to this email (drdavesullivan@gmail.com) by noon on Friday, August 15. Let us know how many in your party will be attending.
We're looking forward to a productive and engaging gathering—hope to see you there!
