Learn the basics of woodland roads and how they work. We will cover standard types of roads, drainage features and surface types. Learn about effective approaches for monitoring that will help you catch problems early and save money. We will also cover the essentials of the new Road Condition Assessment (RCA) form required for harvest notifications.
Participants will walk approximately 1/2 mile on roads. Rain or shine! Wear sturdy walking shoes, bring raingear and a lunch.
